LAUNCH OF VALUE ADDED COURSE(VAC)

The 2-Credit Value Added Course on “Fundamental Selling Skills: Techniques and Applications” has been launched on 19 August 2026. This course is meticulously designed for BBA and IMBA 5th-semester students to bridge the gap between academic business theories and real-world commercial execution. The course is coordinated by Dr. Amarjit Deb. As students approach their transition into professional corporate environments, mastering the art and science of persuasion, relationship management, and strategic communication becomes indispensable. This course introduces learners to the end-to-end sales lifecycle—ranging from prospect identification and client discovery to handling complex buyer objections and securing long-term customer loyalty. By deconstructing modern selling frameworks and buyer psychology, students will develop a structured mindset required to navigate diverse market landscapes, present compelling value propositions, and drive business growth in competitive B2B and B2C ecosystems.

Emphasizing an experiential learning methodology, the course blends theoretical foundations with practical applications such as consultative sales role-plays, negotiation simulations, mock pitches, and case analyses. Students will gain hands-on exposure to essential tools including consultative selling, SPIN questioning techniques, objection-handling models, and digital sales enablement strategies. By the conclusion of this module, participants will not only refine their personal impact and interpersonal agility but will also acquire actionable commercial skill sets that significantly enhance their career readiness, leadership potential, and overall employability across corporate management domains.
