The Marketing Club, School of Commerce and Management (SoCM) is an interdisciplinary student initiative.
As part of this initiative, the club organized a movie-based learning activity featuring The Big Bull, followed by an interactive Question-and-Answer session. The activity provided students with an engaging platform to understand concepts related to the stock market, finance, business decision-making, ethics, risk, and real-world business practices.
The Club goes beyond conventional disciplinary boundaries by connecting management, finance, marketing, economics, entrepreneurship, communication, ethics, society, and culture through the medium of cinema. Such activities encourage students to critically analyse situations, relate theoretical knowledge to practical contexts, develop multiple perspectives, and actively participate in discussions.
The objective of the activity was not only to provide an informative and engaging learning experience but also to
encourage students to think critically, connect theoretical knowledge with practical situations, and participate actively
in discussions. The activity reflects the importance of adopting diverse and innovative teaching-learning methods that
complement conventional classroom learning.
