One Day Workshop on Report Writing for Social Work Practice

The Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University, organized a one-day workshop on “Report Writing for Social Work Practice” on 14th August 2025 for MSW First Semester students. The workshop was moderated by Dr. Kheyali Roy and facilitated by faculty members, including Dr. Bibharani Swargiary, Dr. Lavinia Lyngdoh, Dr. Tulika Rani Talukdar, and Dr. Pavei Kh. The sessions focused on key components of professional report writing, including structure and format of fieldwork reports, data collection and documentation, and effective academic writing techniques.
The program integrated conceptual inputs with practical exercises to strengthen students’ competencies in ethical and professional documentation. It enhanced their skills in communication, analytical writing, and presentation, thereby contributing to their preparedness for fieldwork and professional social work practice, with the participation of 75 students.
