Value Added Course on Results-Based Management of Projects and Programmes

The Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University, organized a three-day value-added course on results-based management of projects and programs for MSW third-semester students. The course focused on project cycle management, including project planning, situational analysis, and stages of project identification, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Key tools such as the Log Frame Matrix, problem trees, stakeholder analysis, SWOT analysis, and participatory approaches were introduced to link theory with practice.

Through interactive group discussions and scenario-based exercises, students engaged in practical applications of stakeholder engagement and monitoring indicators. The programme strengthened their competencies in planning, managing, and evaluating development interventions using results-based approaches, with the participation of around 44 students
