Alumni Lecture Series—Professional Insights and Social Work Practice

The Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University, in collaboration with the Prabodhan Club, organized an Alumni Talk on 11th October 2025 for MSW students. The session featured alumni Mr. Yookini Phawa (Batch 2022–2024) and Mr. Shanbok Songthiang (Batch 2021–2022), who shared reflections on their academic and fieldwork experiences and their transition into professional roles.

The discussion highlighted essential competencies such as communication, report writing, evaluation, and project cycle management, along with strategies for managing academic workload and preparing for professional practice. The interactive session provided valuable insights into career readiness, fieldwork engagement, and skill development. It served as an enriching learning experience, with the participation of 61 students.
