Workshop on “Working for Diversity”

The Department of Social Work at Assam Don Bosco University organized a three-day workshop on Working for Diversity on 29–30 January and 26 February 2026, facilitated by Prof. Janet Carter Anand from the University of Eastern Finland. The workshop engaged students from multiple disciplines in understanding concepts of diversity, culture, and inclusion through interactive discussions and group-based learning. Participants developed project proposals addressing diversity-related issues and presented their work, receiving constructive feedback. The workshop fostered critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and collaborative learning, strengthening students’ capacity to engage with diverse communities in professional social work practice.
