International Conference on Governance and Policies: Reimagining Development Pathways

The Department of Social Work, in collaboration with the Centre for Development Studies and Initiatives (CDSI) and the Department of Public Administration at Assam Don Bosco University, successfully organized a two-day International Conference on “Governance and Policies: Reimagining Development Pathways” on 13–14 February 2026. The conference brought together scholars, practitioners, and students from diverse national and international institutions, fostering rich academic dialogue on governance, policy, and development challenges. A total of 29 research papers were presented across four technical sessions, covering themes such as digital governance, social justice, gender, and regional dynamics. The conference provided a vibrant platform for interdisciplinary exchange and strengthened global academic collaboration.
