International conference & ADBU inducted as member of Service-Learning Asia Network (SLAN)

Dr. Bibharani Swargiary, Head of the Department of Social Work attended and presented a paper at the 10th Asia Pacific Regional Conference on Service-Learning 2025 (APRC S-L), 6-10 October 2025 held at Ateneo de Davao University, Davao, Philippines under the theme “Building a Just and Humane World Through Service-Learning.” The conference brought together educators, practitioners, and institutions across the Asia-Pacific region to strengthen service-learning as a transformative pedagogical approach. During the conference, Assam Don Bosco University was inducted as a member of the Service-Learning Asia Network (SLAN)—a regional platform uniting colleges and universities across Asia committed to advancing service-learning through collaboration, research, and practice. This induction serves as an important turning point for ADBU, reinforcing its commitment to community-engaged learning, social responsibility, and the integration of service-learning within higher education.
