Alumni Meet – “Strengthening Ties, Building Impact”

The Department of Social Work organized the Alumni Meet 2025 on 25 October 2025 at the Tapesia Campus with the theme “Strengthening Ties, Building Impact.” The programme aimed to reconnect with alumni, celebrate their professional journeys, and strengthen engagement between former students and the department. The alumni reflected on their learning journeys at ADBU, sharing how the knowledge, skills, and values acquired during their 2 years at ADBU have been meaningfully applied in diverse professional sectors, shaping their work practices, leadership roles, and commitment to social impact. An action plan was formulated to revitalize the alumni network, which included key proposals such as establishing state-level alumni chapters, organizing regular alumni interactions, initiating alumni-led lecture series, and instituting alumni excellence and scholarship awards. The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to sustained collaboration and mutual support for the growth and impact of the Department of Social Work.
