The students from Department of Social Work participated in the Social Impact Performance Programme (MIME Competition) organized by the Don Bosco National Forum for the Young at Risk (YaR Forum), Delhi, on 8 October 2025 at Don Bosco Institute, Joypur, Kharghuli, Guwahati. Eight first-semester MSW students, guided by Dr. Pavei Kh, presented a mime performance on the theme “Youth Create an Enabling Ecosystem for Young People at Risk.” The performance addressed critical issues such as relationship violence, substance abuse, and social pressures affecting vulnerable youth, while conveying messages of awareness, hope, and collective responsibility. The team’s creative expression and strong social relevance were highly appreciated by the jury and audience, earning them First Prize in the competition and bringing recognition to both the department and the University
