ONE day lecture on ADBU-MED-CHEM-CONNECT-2025

The Department of Chemistry, Assam Don Bosco University, hosted one day lecture program entitled ADBU-MED-CHEM-CONNECT-2025 on 7 November 2025 at the Tapesia Campus, Sonapur. The event focused on the theme: “The interconnectedness of chemistry and medicine in shaping modern therapeutics.” The program was inaugurated with a prayer and lamp-lighting ceremony led by Rev. Fr. Dr. Zacharias George, Registrar. Convened by Dr. J. N. Vishwakarma and moderated by Dr. Shunan Kaping, the event received generous support from Dote Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Distinguished speakers from Manipur University, Tripura University, NIT Dimapur, and the medical fraternity delivered insightful talks on Deep Eutectic Solvents, natural products, synthetic methodologies, functional materials, and the therapeutic prospects of sodium EDTA. The event provided an enriching platform for students, researchers, and faculty to explore emerging trends in medicinal and organic chemistry, reinforcing the vital link between chemical sciences and healthcare innovation.
