The Department of Chemistry, Assam Don Bosco University organized an industrial visit to the Dalmia Cement unit at Jagiroad on 28th October 2025. The visit was attended by the students of M.Sc. 3rd Semester and B.Sc. 5th Semester, along with the faculty members.
During the visit, the students gained practical exposure to the cement manufacturing process, quality control systems, and environmental management practices adopted by the industry. The interaction with technical personnel provided valuable insights linking theoretical concepts with real industrial applications. The visit was informative and beneficial, contributing to the academic and practical understanding of the students.
