Workshop on Solid waste management

Department of chemistry, Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia, organized a two day workshop on ‘Solid waste Management’. The resorce persons were Prof. Pradip Baishya from mechanical engineering department, Assam Engineering College and Ms. Binita Baishya, Proprietor, Eco waste management plant, Kamakhya, Guwahati. The first day was technical lectures about the theme and the next day students had an industrial visit to the eco waste management plant at Kamakhya Guwahati for practical experience. We believe that such type of initiative by the department will help in the growth of technical and entrepreneurship skills of our students for enhancing knowledge and creating job opportunities.
