Workshop on Molecular Modelling

The Department of Chemistry and Club Analytics(the co-curricular club of Chemistry) organized a 2-day workshop on molecular modelling, to introduce Chemistry students to the ideas of computational modelling. The resource person was Dr. Lopamudra Homchaudhuri, Assistant Professor, department of Chemistry who delivered talk on “Introduction to molecular dynamics and molecular docking simulations of biomolecules”. The workshop included a talk and hands-on-sessions on molecular dynamics simulations of a peptide in an aqueous solution and the docking of an inhibitor to an enzyme.
