About the Department

The Department of Economics at Assam Don Bosco University is one of the well-established departments of the University. The department formally started its academic journey in 2018 with an undergraduate (UG) program. The department is committed to excellence in quality teaching and innovative research offering a wide range of Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Economics as well as a well-structured PhD training program in the field of Economics. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and dedicated faculty members.

Programmes Offered

The Department of Economics offers the following Bachelors and Master degrees as well as PhD programs:

  • B.A. Economics (FYUG Program as per guidelines of NEP 2020)
  • M.A. in Economics (Both 1 & 2 Year Program)
  • PhD. (Doctoral program offered in wide range of fields of Economics)
