INSTITUTE of Pharmacy Hosts Lecture Series on ‘THE Power of Words’

The Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Don Bosco University, through its Training and Placement Cell, organized a lecture series in hybrid mode on 30th August 2025 with the title “The Power of Words: Mastering Communication for Professional Excellence.” The event, aimed at strengthening professional skills among pharmacy students, was hosted by Ms. Clarynda Sari and Ms. Lariti D. Khongwir, with the online proceedings seamlessly coordinated by Dr. Manas J. Kapil.

The program opened with a welcome address by Prof. Raja Chakraborty, Principal of the Institute of Pharmacy. His remarks underscored the pivotal role of communication in professional growth and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to nurturing student success. The highlight of the session was the keynote address delivered by Dr. Fabian Wanbok Marbaniang, who shared valuable insights on mastering both verbal and non-verbal communication in today’s competitive workplace. He emphasized how effective communication not only strengthens interpersonal relations but also directly impacts career advancement.

Designed specifically for aspiring pharmacists, the lecture provided practical strategies for patient counseling, inter-professional collaboration, and career readiness.
