Hand on training on Semi Auto Biochemistry Analyzer

The Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Don Bosco University, successfully conducted a hands-on training session on the Semi-Auto Biochemistry Analyser on March 4, 2025. Organized in collaboration with Agappe Diagnostics Ltd., the training aimed to equip faculty members with enhanced practical skills and technical proficiency in biochemical analysis.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Raja Chakraborty, Principal of the Institute of Pharmacy, who underscored the significance of continual faculty development in advancing both academic excellence and research capabilities. He warmly welcomed Mr. Gyanjyoti Baruah, the expert representative from Agappe Diagnostics Ltd., who led the training session. Mr. Baruah delivered a comprehensive demonstration of the Semi-Auto Biochemistry Analyser, highlighting key operational aspects such as device calibration, sample analysis, troubleshooting techniques, and routine maintenance. His presentation offered in-depth insights into the analyser’s application in both clinical and academic settings.

Faculty members actively engaged in the practical segment, gaining valuable hands-on experience with the equipment. Under expert supervision, participants operated the analyser and explored its functionalities, deepening their understanding of biochemical diagnostic procedures. A Q&A session followed, allowing attendees to raise queries and clarify doubts related to the analyser’s use in research and laboratory teaching.
