The Department of Psychology was established on 12^th September, 2012 as a constituent unit of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Assam Don Bosco University with the aim of giving opportunity to the budding psychologists to bridge the gap between theory and practice. It is committed to excellence in teaching, research and professional practice. With a multidisciplinary and contemporary approach, the department aims to nurture critical thinking, scientific inquiry and ethical practice among students while addressing diverse psychological needs in society.
