MoU with LGBRIMH, Tezpur

The Department of Psychology signed an MoU with Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur on 23 September 2024. The MoU was signed by Dr. Hemanta Dutta, Deputy Director, LGBRIMH on behalf of LGBRIMH, Tezpur and Dr. Chandita Baruah, Head, Department of Psychology, on behalf of Assam Don Bosco University. As per this MoU, LGBRIMH agreed to train 46 students of Don Bosco University students for a period of 45 days in a year and impart necessary skills and practical exposure to the students. Given the fact that, LGBRIMH is the top institute in North East India in Mental Health studies, this MoU will pave a way for students of Psychology at Don Bosco University to get specialized training and acquire necessary skills to deal with people with mental health issues. The MoU was signed for a period of five years.
