Training Session on Resume Drafting and Placement Preparation

A training session was organized by the Training and Placement Department of Assam Don Bosco University on 29th April 2026 for B.A. 6th Semester students with 23 participants in attendance.

The primary objective of the session was to equip students with essential skills required for placement readiness. The training focused on effective resume drafting, highlighting key components such as structuring, content presentation, and customization based on job requirements. In addition, students were oriented to various aspects of placement preparation, including professional communication, interview readiness, and general employability skills.

The session provided practical guidance and insights into industry expectations, helping students understand how to present their academic and skill-based profiles effectively. It also encouraged students to develop confidence and preparedness for upcoming placement opportunities.

Overall, the programme contributed to enhancing students’ career readiness and employability skills, aligning with the university’s focus on holistic student development.
