Civil Engineering Students Explore IoT Applications at 5G Lab

On 24th May 2025, 44 sixth-semester B.Tech Civil Engineering students of Assam Don Bosco University, accompanied by four faculty members, visited the 5G Experience Center at Tech City, Guwahati. The industrial visit provided students with insights into the practical applications of IoT, potential avenues for minor projects in the 7th semester, and internship opportunities at the 5G Lab. The exposure to emerging technologies highlighted how IoT can be integrated into various sub-disciplines of Civil Engineering, making the visit both enriching and impactful.
