Career Counselling Programme: Leveraging Digital Platforms for Social Work Practice

The Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia, organized a special workshop on “Career Counselling Programme: Leveraging Digital Platforms for Social Work Practice” on 30th May 2025 for MSW 4th-semester students. The session was facilitated by Mr. Daisinlung Sebastian Kamsuan, creator of Xpulse Travel Diary, with the objective of exploring the use of digital platforms for career development and social engagement. The session highlighted the role of platforms such as YouTube and Instagram in youth engagement, awareness generation, and social change, while also addressing ethical considerations, including informed consent and sensitivity to social issues. The interactive discussion and demonstration encouraged students to creatively integrate digital tools into social work practice, with the participation of 50 students.
