MSW Final Semester Students Complete Continuous Fieldwork Placement – Spring 2025

The Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University, facilitated a one-month continuous fieldwork placement for MSW 4th-semester students from 17th March to 17th April 2025. Students were placed across multiple organizations in different states of India, gaining diverse exposure to social work practice through community assessments, intervention programmes, counselling support, and research-related activities. The fieldwork enabled students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts while strengthening their professional competencies in communication, planning, and ethical practice. The experience enhanced their confidence and preparedness for professional roles, with a total of 91 students successfully completing the placement.
