Three-Day Workshop on Group Work Skills and Facilitation

The Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University, organized a three-day workshop on Skill Enhancement on Group Work Skills and Facilitation from 26th to 28th May 2025 for MSW 2nd Semester students. Facilitated by Prof. Joy Mathew, Principal, Don Bosco Arts and Science College, Kannur, Kerala. The workshop aimed to strengthen competencies in group dynamics, facilitation, team-building and professional engagement. The sessions combined experiential learning with interactive methods such as group activities, role plays, and team-building exercises. The programme enhanced students’ communication, leadership, and teamwork skills while encouraging critical reflection on social realities and leadership responsibilities, contributing to their overall professional development. A total of 88 MSW 2nd semester students participated for the workshop.
