Academic exchange programs play a vital role in bridging institutions, fostering collaboration, and enriching students’ learning experiences. With this vision in mind, the Department of Mathematics at Assam Don Bosco University organized an engaging and insightful Academic Exchange Program, welcoming students and faculty from Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
A Warm Beginning
The program began on a welcoming note with an address by Dr. Fokrul Alom Mazarbhuiya, Head of the Department of Mathematics. He warmly greeted the visiting team and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in broadening academic perspectives and strengthening inter-institutional relationships. His words set a positive tone for the day, highlighting how collaboration can open new avenues for both students and educators.

The visiting delegation, comprising 15 enthusiastic science students, was led by Mr. Botem Moyong, Assistant Professor from Dera Natung Government College. In his address, Mr. Moyong expressed sincere gratitude to the host institution and underlined the value of academic exposure beyond the classroom. He noted that such programs not only enhance knowledge but also inspire students to explore new academic horizons.

A key highlight of the program was the academic session delivered by Prof. Tarini Kumar Dutta, Department of Mathematics, ADBU. His talk introduced participants to exciting and contemporary fields such as:
