Academic Exchange Program

The Department of Mathematics, School of Fundamental & Applied Sciences, Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia has organized an Academic Exchange Program and Outreach Program on 5^th March, 2025 under functional MOU between Assam Don Bosco University and Morigaon College, Assam, Under the program Vice Principal. Faculty Members, along with a group of 30 undergraduate students from the Department of Mathematics, Morigaon College visited our Campus and actively participated in programme organized by the Department Mathematics, ADBU. The welcome address was delivered by Fr. Dr. Zacharias George, Registrar ADBU, followed a brief address of Vice Principal, Morigaon College. The HoD, Mathematics, ADBU gave a brief introduction about the purpose of the Academic Exchange Programme undertaken by the Department. The HoD, Mathematics, Morigaon College brief talked about their purpose of the visit. The direactor, SOFAS, highlighted the various progrmmes and activities of the ADBU. Professor, T. K. Dutta highlighted the importance of academic exchange among the Mathematics community. The Mr. P. Bora of Morigaon College shared his personal experience. The vote of thanks was offered Ms. Rashmita Baruah of ADBU. In 2^nd session, there was a series technical talks by the faculty members of the Department of Mathematics, ADBU. Prof. T. K. Dutta of Department of Mathematics, ADBU delivered a popular talk on a very interesting topic on -” Mathematics in Cancer treatment”, which fascinates all the audiences. Dr. Sanjoy Kalita delivered a lecture on the use of Mathematica and its Applications. The students also showcased the goal, mission and vision of Assam Don Bosco University. The session conducted was highly impressive and was enjoyed by the visitors.
