Dr. Ankur Goswami Awarded Prestigious Huayu Enrichment Scholarship by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education

Dr. Ankur Goswami, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Assam Don Bosco University, has been selected for the prestigious Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) awarded by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, to support international learners in pursuing Mandarin Chinese language studies in Taiwan. Under the scholarship, Dr. Goswami will undertake Mandarin language training at the Mandarin Training Center, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), Taipei, during the Winter Term from December 2026 to February 2027. He also attended the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Ceremony held at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India (TECC), New Delhi, on 18 August 2026, where the scholarship certificate was presented by the Honourable Ambassador of Taiwan, Dr. Mumin Chen. The programme included interactions with Ms. Jill Lai, Director, Education Division, TECC, along with orientation and visa-related sessions for the scholarship recipients. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Dr. Goswami’s international academic engagement and reflects the growing global exposure of the Department of Civil Engineering, Assam Don Bosco University. The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Goswami on this distinguished accomplishment and wishes him a rewarding academic and cultural experience in Taiwan.
