Observation of World Environment Day 2026

World Environment Day 2026 was observed on 20th May 2026 by the Department of Bio-Sciences, Assam Don Bosco University in collaboration with the Vita Scientia Club. The programme was organized with the bjective of spreading awareness regarding environmental protection and promoting the importance of clean and healthy environment within the university campus and surrounding areas. The theme for the observance was “Clean Environment, Healthy Future”, emphasizing the urgent need to minimize waste pollution and encourage sustainable environmental practices among students and the academic community.
