Field Visit to the Central Ayurvedic Research Institute

The field visit to the Central Ayurvedic Research Institute was organized for the D. Pharmacy students on 25th January 2025 to enrich their understanding of traditional medicine, specifically Ayurveda, and expose them to the intersection of ancient healing practices with modern pharmaceutical sciences. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge gained in classrooms and the practical application of pharmaceutical principles in the context of traditional medicine.

The visit commenced with a warm welcome by the institute staff. An introductory session provided an overview of the institute’s history, mission, and pivotal role in promoting Ayurvedic research. Followed by a Laboratory Tour, Herbarium Exploration, Pharmacy Department Exploration and Interactive Sessions.

The field visit to the Central Ayurveda Research Institute proved to be an insightful and enriching experience for all participants. It not only deepened our understanding of Ayurvedic research but also highlighted the institute’s commitment to preserving and advancing traditional knowledge in contemporary times. The event successfully achieved its objectives by bridging the gap between theory and practical application in the field of Ayurveda.
