Leaflet-Making Competition Marks World Pharmacists Day 2026 at ADBUADBU Organises Leaflet-Making Competition to Raise Awareness on Antimicrobial Resistance

The Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), organised a Leaflet-Making Competition on 26 September 2026 as part of the celebrations of World Pharmacists Day 2026 and the 65th National Pharmacy Week 2026.

The competition was organised under the theme “Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures”, with the sub-theme “Swastha Bharat: Combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).” The activity aimed to encourage students to creatively communicate important messages on responsible antimicrobial use, AMR awareness, and the role of pharmacists in promoting public health.

The event was held at Room B2-06, Block V, and provided students with an opportunity to combine their pharmaceutical knowledge with creativity and health communication skills. The competition formed part of the Institute’s initiatives to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance and strengthen the contribution of future pharmacists towards a healthier society.
