ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON BASIC MAPPING USING GOOGLE EARTH PRO & QGIS

The Department of Zoology, Assam Don Bosco University, successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on “Basic Mapping using Google Earth Pro & QGIS” on 28th March 2026.
The session was conducted by Dr. Biswajit Chakdar, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Zoology. Dr. Chakdar delivered insightful lectures and practical demonstrations, covering topics such as introduction to GIS, spatial data handling, map creation, and application of mapping tools in research.
A total of 40 participants attended the workshop, including MSc students and research scholars from the Departments of Zoology and Botany.
