Career Counselling on Essential Skills for Career Growth in Banking Sector

On 12th of February 2025, the Department of Economics, Assam Don Bosco University, successfully organized a special career counselling session on ‘Essential Skills for Career Growth in Banking Sector’ for the final year students of the department along with few interested faculty members. More than 40 students of the department took part in the event. 

The event was conducted in collaboration with TimesPro and Bajaj Finserv, aiming to provide valuable insights into the essential skills required for career advancement in the banking sector. The resource person for the session was Mr. Rahul Bosak, Trainer, TimesPro, who delivered an engaging and informative and upskilling talk on key competencies, industry expectations, and career opportunities in banking and financial services. Mr. Bosak covered various topics necessary for the banking sector such as communication skills, analytical abilities, and financial literacy, and adaptability providing critical attributes for aspiring professionals in the field.
