Innovative teaching–learning session (enhancing students’ scientific communication, creativity, and digital competency)

The Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Don Bosco University, organized an innovative teaching–learning session on 23rd May 2026 at 9. 00 am onwards to enhance students’ scientific communication, creativity, and digital competency through modern poster presentation techniques.

The session focused on developing modern scientific posters following standard scientific presentation formats on various pharmaceutical topics. Students were guided on the essential components of a professional research poster, including title organization, abstract presentation, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.

A unique feature of the session was the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and graphic arts design applications to improve the quality and visual appeal of academic presentations. Students explored the use of AI-assisted platforms for content generation, design enhancement, layout planning, image creation, and infographic development. Graphic design applications were also utilized to create visually engaging and scientifically accurate posters.

The activity encouraged students to integrate scientific knowledge with digital creativity, promoting innovative learning practices and modern communication skills essential for healthcare and pharmaceutical professionals. The session also strengthened students’ abilities in research presentation, teamwork, critical thinking, and technology-enabled learning.

The initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to adopting contemporary teaching methodologies and preparing students for future-ready academic and professional environments.
