The Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) is pleased to announce the celebration of World Pharmacists Day 2026 and National Pharmacy Week 2026 through a series of academic, creative, awareness-oriented and competitive activities for students.
World Pharmacists Day 2026
Date: 25 September 2026
Theme: “Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures”
The celebration will highlight the evolving role of pharmacists in healthcare, patient safety, health promotion, rational use of medicines and community well-being.
National Pharmacy Week 2026
Period: Third Week of November 2026
The National Pharmacy Week programme will focus on strengthening awareness about the pharmacy profession, responsible use of medicines, antimicrobial resistance, public health and the contribution of pharmacists to the healthcare system.
Participation
All eligible students of the Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Don Bosco University are encouraged to actively participate in the events and competitions. Details regarding registration, eligibility, rules, venue and submission deadlines will be communicated separately by the organizing committee.
