As part of the Positive Psychology curriculum(Minor Paper), the Department of Psychology, Assam Don Bosco University, organized a workshop titled “Workshop on Mindfulness for Stress Management and Focus” on 7th May 2026 for BA 6th Semester- Positive Psychology Minor paper students. This workshop was specifically designed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities by applying positive psychological concepts in a practical setting.

The objective of the workshop was to help students understand mindfulness as a core positive psychology intervention that enhances psychological well-being, emotional regulation, stress management, and cognitive focus. Rather than limiting learning to theoretical classroom discussions, the module emphasized practical exposure through direct engagement with evidence-based mindfulness strategies. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Khriephretuonuo Pienyu, who introduced students to the principles of mindfulness and guided them through interactive exercises including mindful breathing, awareness practices, reflective observation, and focus-building activities.

Students actively participated, reflecting enthusiastic engagement and academic involvement.
