The Department of Psychology, Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia, organized a workshop on Aptitude for Placement and NET Examinations on 22nd November 2026 in Room 016, Academic Block II. The workshop aimed to equip postgraduate students with the necessary aptitude skills required for competitive examinations and placement processes.
Objectives of the Workshop
- To enhance students’ quantitative, logical, and analytical aptitude skills.
- To familiarize students with the pattern and requirements of placement tests and NET examinations.
- To provide strategies for effective problem-solving and time management.
- To prepare students for career opportunities and competitive academic pursuits.
Content and Activities
The session was conducted in an interactive and practice-oriented manner, focusing on key aptitude areas:
- Overview of Aptitude Requirements: The resource person introduced the structure and expectations of aptitude tests in placement processes and NET examinations.
- Quantitative and Logical Reasoning: Students were guided through important concepts, shortcuts, and problem-solving techniques in quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning.
- Practice and Problem Solving: The session included practice questions and live problem-solving, enabling students to apply concepts in real-time.
- Strategies for Competitive Exams: Effective techniques for time management, accuracy, and exam preparation were discussed.
Overall, the workshop enhanced students’ understanding of aptitude-based assessments and improved their problem-solving skills. Participants gained practical insights into exam patterns and preparation strategies, thereby increasing their confidence in facing placement tests and NET examinations.
