International Youth Day 2022 Celebration: Special Lecture on Intergenerational Solidarity

The Department of Public Administration at Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia Campus, celebrated International Youth Day on August 12, 2022, with a special extension lecture under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The webinar, held via Google Meet from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, featured Prof. (Dr.) M. Uma Maheswari from the University of Madras. Speaking on “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages,” she highlighted the importance of collaboration across generations for sustainable development. The session aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals and emphasized inclusive growth. The event saw participation from 62 attendees and concluded with an interactive discussion and vote of thanks.
