Extension Activities

The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University, organised the observance of National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31 October 2025 at the Department premises, Academic Block 5. The event commemorated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, celebrating his invaluable contribution to national integration and unity.

The programme began with an introduction highlighting the significance of National Unity Day and the enduring legacy of Sardar Patel in strengthening the unity and integrity of India. Faculty members and students actively participated in the event, reflecting their commitment to the ideals of national solidarity.

A key highlight of the programme was the National Unity Pledge, where participants collectively reaffirmed their dedication to preserving the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The pledge ceremony was conducted with sincerity and enthusiasm, fostering a sense of responsibility among students.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Kumar Kalita, Mr. Rupak Biswas, Ms. Manashi Parashar, and Dr. Khaidem Yaiphabi Singha, ensuring active participation from students across different semesters. The programme concluded with an interactive session, where students shared reflections on unity and nation-building.
