World Environment Day 2025 Celebration Organized by the Department of Public Administration

The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University (Tapesia Campus), organized a vibrant program to commemorate World Environment Day on 5th June 2025 at the BA II Classroom, Academic Block V.

The event was conducted under the global theme “Our Land. Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration,” emphasizing the urgent need for ecosystem restoration and sustainable practices. The program witnessed active participation from students and research scholars across departments.

The session began with a welcome address by the event coordinator, who highlighted the significance of environmental conservation and encouraged students to adopt sustainable lifestyle practices.

A major highlight of the event was the student presentations, where participants showcased their ideas through speeches, poetry, and visual presentations. Topics covered included environmental sustainability, individual and collective responsibilities, and practical actions for ecosystem restoration. A notable presentation on “Achieving Environmental Sustainability” explored challenges, policy frameworks, technological solutions, and local initiatives, linking global efforts like the Paris Agreement with grassroots actions.

The participation of PhD scholars added depth to the discussions, inspiring students to engage critically with environmental issues. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of all participants and encouraging continued commitment toward sustainability.
