The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University, organised a Bridge Course Orientation Programme for M.A. Semester II students on 6 January 2026 at Academic Block-5, Room BA-011. The session was conducted during the Spring Session of the academic year 2025–2026 to support students in their academic progression.
The programme was convened and coordinated by Dr. Saurabh Chandra, who also served as the resource person for the session. He provided a comprehensive overview of the bridge course, explaining its objectives, structure, and relevance in strengthening students’ conceptual understanding and analytical abilities.
During the orientation, students were introduced to the course content, teaching methodologies, and assessment patterns. Dr. Chandra emphasized the importance of addressing learning gaps, enhancing critical thinking, and maintaining active participation throughout the course.
The session was interactive, allowing students to ask questions and clarify their doubts regarding the course requirements and expectations. A total of 10 students participated in the programme.
Overall, the orientation successfully prepared students for the upcoming semester by equipping them with clarity, confidence, and a structured approach to academic learning.
