
The Department of Public Administration, in collaboration with CDSI (Centre for Development Studies and Initiatives) and Uniservitate, Assam Don Bosco University, is pleased to announce the organization of a One Act Play Competition under the Service Learning Fellowship – Youth for “Drug Free Campus”.

The event is being organized with the support of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, aiming to engage students in meaningful creative expression while promoting awareness on critical social and moral issues.
Objectives of the Event
- To provide a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents
- To encourage creativity, teamwork, and innovative thinking
- To develop confidence, communication, and public performance skills
- To integrate service learning with higher education through experiential activities
About the Event
The competition will bring together students from various disciplines to present impactful one-act plays addressing themes such as social awareness, youth empowerment, and moral values. Participants will demonstrate their skills in scriptwriting, acting, and stage presentation.
Performances will be evaluated based on creativity, content, message delivery, teamwork, and stage presence. The event promises to be both engaging and thought-provoking, offering a unique opportunity for students to connect academic learning with real-world social issues.
Coordination
The event will be coordinated by Prof. Riju Sharma, Director of CDSI, and Ms. Manashi Parashar, Project Coordinator.
