Lecture on Career Development for Students Organized by the Department of Public Administration

The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University (Tapesia Campus), organized a lecture on “Career Development for Students” on 12th September 2024 at 11:00 AM.

The session aimed to provide students with valuable insights into career planning, skill development, and strategies for success in today’s competitive environment. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Buljit Buragohain, Chairman of the Career Guidance Cell and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Assam Don Bosco University.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Miss Jaevella M J Nongbe, followed by an introduction and felicitation of the speaker by Dr. Pankaj Kumar Kalita, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the event.

In his lecture, Dr. Buragohain emphasized the importance of identifying individual strengths, setting clear career goals, and utilizing available opportunities for personal and professional growth. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in the Q&A segment and seeking guidance on various career-related concerns.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Miss Renisha Kashyap, expressing gratitude to the speaker, faculty members, and participants. The session ended with a photo session and formal closing.
