Interactive Session with Director, SHSS Organized by the Department of Public Administration

The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University (Tapesia Campus), organized an interactive session on 22nd August 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Cenacle Hall, Academic Block V.

The session was graced by Prof. (Fr.) James Chacko, Director of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, who engaged with undergraduate and postgraduate students of the department. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Saurabh Chandra, Head of the Department.

The session witnessed the participation of more than 100 students along with faculty members including Prof. Riju Sharma, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Kalita, Mr. Rupak Biswas, Dr. Khaidem Yaiphabi Singha, Dr. Santhosh J, and Ms. Manashi Parashar.

During his address, the Director emphasized the importance of discipline, regular attendance, and responsible behavior both inside and outside the campus. He encouraged students to adopt the Boscian way of life, focusing on values, character building, and holistic development. The session concluded on a lively note with a musical performance by the Director, which was well received by the students.

The program proved to be highly engaging and insightful, leaving students motivated to align their academic journey with strong values and discipline. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Saurabh Chandra, expressing gratitude to the Director, faculty members, and students for their participation.
