








The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University, in collaboration with the Research and Development Cell (RDC), organised the University-Level ANVESHAN – Student Research Convention 2025 on 28 October 2025 at the Tapesia Campus.
The event aimed to identify outstanding individual and group research projects and recommend them for participation in the East Zonal ANVESHAN Convention 2025–2026. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Saurabh Chandra, Head of the Department, who emphasized the importance of fostering a research culture and interdisciplinary collaboration among students.
The competition was conducted in two rounds. The first round involved poster presentations where participants showcased their research objectives, methodology, and findings. The second round featured oral presentations, allowing shortlisted candidates to present their work before a panel of judges and demonstrate the scientific and social relevance of their research.
The judges evaluated entries based on innovation, creativity, societal relevance, and feasibility. The selected projects were recommended for representation at the zonal level. The event provided a valuable platform for students to enhance research skills and academic excellence.
