The department is pleased to announce the organization of a two-day Orientation Program (Bridge Course) scheduled for 11th–12th August 2025. This program is specifically designed for newly admitted undergraduate students to help them transition smoothly into their academic environment.

The orientation will cover essential aspects of university education, including the curriculum structure, credit system, examination patterns, and the university’s code of conduct. The sessions aim to provide students with a clear understanding of academic expectations and institutional guidelines.

Approximately 60 students will participate in this program. The sessions will be organized across two classrooms within the department to ensure effective engagement.

The program is being coordinated by Ms. Manashi Parashar for BA Sem- 1 and Dr Pankaj Kumar Kalita for MA Sem-2. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to ensuring a structured onboarding process for new students.
