Guest Expert Session & Master Class on Taiwanese Tea

On March 22, 2024, the Department of Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), organized a Guest Expert Session on “Orientation on Overseas Studies & Benefits,” followed by a Master Class on the Taiwanese Tea Ceremony.

The expert session provided students with valuable insights into international education opportunities, scholarships, and career prospects in the global hospitality industry. Experts shared their experiences, guiding students on choosing the right academic pathways, cultural adaptability, and professional growth through overseas studies.

Following the session, a Master Class on the Taiwanese Tea Ceremony introduced students to the art, culture, and traditions of Taiwanese tea-making. The session featured live demonstrations on the preparation and benefits of Taiwanese Pearl Milk Tea and Oolong Tea, emphasizing their health benefits, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles. Students gained hands-on experience, learning the intricate steps of tea preparation, presentation, and sensory appreciation.

The event was an engaging and immersive experience, enhancing students’ knowledge of global culinary traditions and international career opportunities.
