Lecture on Grievance Redressal Mechanism with Special Reference to Ombudsman

The Department of Public Administration at Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia Campus, organized a lecture on August 23, 2022, under its Departmental Lecture Series. The session, titled “Grievance Redressal Mechanism: A Special Reference of Ombudsman,” was conducted in digital mode from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM and coordinated by Dr. Chandrima Das. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Rajani Ranjan Jha (Retd.), Banaras Hindu University. He discussed the importance of grievance redressal systems in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance. The session enriched students’ understanding of administrative justice and institutional mechanisms in public administration.
