Special Lecture on Why Governance: Exploring Neoliberal Perspectives

The Department of Public Administration at Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia Campus, organized a special lecture on September 1, 2022, in digital mode. The session, titled “Why Governance: Exploring Neoliberal Instrumentality Behind the Birth of Governance,” was conducted from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and coordinated by Dr. Chandrima Das. Dr. Gyana Ranjan Panda, Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Policy, Law and Governance, delivered the lecture. He discussed the emergence of governance concepts within neoliberal frameworks and their impact on public administration. The session enhanced students’ critical understanding of governance theories and modern administrative practices.
