





















The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University, successfully organized the “Swachhata Special Campaign 5.0 – Special Campaign for Swachhata and Reducing Pendency” from 7 to 17 October 2025 at the Tapesia Campus, Sonapur, Assam.
The campaign aimed to promote cleanliness, efficient record management, and reduction of pendency in departmental work, aligning with the Government of India’s Swachhata Mission. The programme was formally inaugurated on 7 October 2025 by Dr. Saurabh Chandra, Head of the Department, in the presence of faculty members and students.
The campaign was conducted in two phases. Phase I focused on orienting faculty members on the Departmental Filing and Referencing System to ensure systematic documentation and transparency. Phase II emphasized cleanliness drives, organization of office spaces, and proper record management practices. Students and faculty actively participated in cleaning classrooms, arranging files, and streamlining departmental records.
A total of 26 student volunteers and 7 faculty members contributed to the initiative. The campaign concluded with a renewed commitment to maintaining cleanliness, accountability, and efficiency in departmental functioning. Overall, the initiative significantly strengthened institutional practices and fostered environmental consciousness among participants.
