National Voter’s Day Celebration 2025 Organized by the Department of Public Administration

The Department of Public Administration, Assam Don Bosco University (Tapesia Campus), organized the National Voter’s Day Celebration 2025 on 25th January 2025 at Block V from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

The event was conducted with the objective of promoting electoral awareness and encouraging students to actively participate in the democratic process. The celebration aligned with the theme “Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure,” emphasizing the importance of exercising the right to vote with confidence and responsibility.

The program commenced with an informative session by Dr. Santhosh J., Coordinator of the event, who discussed the history and role of the Election Commission of India in ensuring free and fair elections. His address inspired students to become responsible citizens and actively engage in the electoral process.

The event also featured a documentary screening prepared by students, followed by presentations highlighting the significance of National Voter’s Day. Prof. Riju Sharma, Head of the Department, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of voting and democratic participation, appreciating the efforts of the students.

As part of the celebration, a Poster Making Competition (Digital & Non-Digital) was organized, in which students from various departments actively participated. The competition showcased creative expressions on voter awareness, and winners were awarded prizes in recognition of their efforts.

The event successfully enhanced awareness about the importance of voting and witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members, reinforcing the values of democracy and responsible citizenship.
